The default rests provided on my instruments are a Wolf Maestrino chinrest and a Resonans #1 (low) shoulder-rest.

The Wolf Maestrino chinrest is soft and flexible, and will help you comfortably support the additional weight of an electric instrument. For those who would prefer a traditional wood chinrest, I can substitute a Fleisch ebony chinrest at no extra charge. Other rests may or may not be compatible with my instruments, and may require design alterations to the bout, so it is important to let me know if you require a particular model of chinrest. Please be sure to let me know where you position your chinrest on your acoustic instrument so that I can match that placement for your comfort.

You can easily use most standard shoulder-rests with my instruments; a Resonans #1 (low) rest is included for your convenience. Note that there is no lip around the underside of the bout, so rests that are specially designed to grab that lip will not hold my instruments in the way they were designed to. The rest does need to stand away from the underside of the instrument, as two lacquered protrusions of the shell pass beneath the bout, along with the head of a screw that secures the bout to the spine; these design elements also mean that playing without any shoulder-rest is not recommended.
